9/7/2023 0 Comments Freedom planet 2 devlogThe concept of the game is to watch FP1 turn into FP2, with certain elements of the redesigns and such getting stuffed in there too. The idea is to make a game that starts straight after FP1 and then bridges the gap between 1 and 2, perhaps this whole "war with the aliens" thing being the major plot point. As someone who wants to someday be a game dev, it might be a fun little project for me to take on. This is a bit of a concept I came up with because I liked the original game and preferred its art style and story over that of 2. I might be completely wrong (who knows how long those aliens will be searching?), but it seems this idea, which I actually prefer over the new Merga plot, will never become an actual game. But it looks like, with the new plot involving Merga, and the fact that these voice clips were cut from the actual game, there will be no such sequel. Ignoring that the voice clip that follows is Brevon singing The Sound of Music (which he does beautifully by the way), this is an amazing setup for a potential sequel. let's just say that I will be back to claim what is mine." "Every terrible thing in the galaxy will be heading their way. "Every world we looted from will be searching for it, and their search will lead them directly to that savage rock." More importantly though, this treasure belongs to the inhabitants of many other planets. "Even if you don't fight for freedom, fight for wealth, for glory. Zao: ".Of course! Hear this, my friends there's treasure to be won from this battle!" This leads to one of my favorite cut lines: Like, a lot of treasure, which he took on his conquest of many other worlds. But several parts of said story were cut somewhere along the way, including a setup for a potential sequel that, honestly, I would've loved to see.įor those who don't know (which I'm sure that's a pretty large group), the setup goes like so Lord Brevon, the alien overlord you defeat in the original game, has treasure on his ship. I loved the character designs, the gameplay, heck, even the story. You see, I'm a pretty huge fan of FP1 (which I own elsewhere, in case you check and don't find it). Even bloopers are secretly added. So I am pretty exited for FP2, but at the same time I'm also kinda disappointed. Each of those voices really fits each of the characters making them very special and memorable. But mostly it's Milla who has fewer boss battles in the end. Not just those the 3 characters have their own fighting style but they both got each of their different perspectives of their own story, some have different levels, some have different dialogs and some have different boss battles to beat. While Milla is locked unless I progress throughout the game. The Adventure mode has the right to either play as Lilac or Carol. But one of the real reasons that I really need to play is the Adventure mode. Especially when I face Lord Brevon three times. It was very stressful to repeat a level that I can't beat but that is what makes the game very challenging. Levels were absolutely difficult and challenging both at the same time depending on which character you are playing even in normal mode. Lilac uses his dragon power ability, Carol with her agile melee attacks, and Milla with a small cube that can be used to blast, shield, and shield blast the attack. This is already like playing the Sonic game but with the use of the three Freedom Planet characters each with their own fighting style. One of my favorite songs is "Final Boss 2". Most of the levels in the game really fit into the song of choice. Freedom Planet is the best non-Sonic game that you really need to play! It showed absolute great potential and lived its expectations for the Sonic fans. If you are a huge fan of the Sonic Franchise.
